The 2023 NCAA DI outdoor track and field championships start today and Southern California stands at the top of the overall outdoor team championship table with 28 (combined men's and women's).

Many of the athletes competing this week will go pro and compete at the Olympics in 2024, following in the footsteps of previous NCAA Champions and Olympians, JuVaughn Harrison, Athing Mu, and Tara Davis.

Brendon Stewart was part of the 2022 NCAA 4x100m record-breaking champions team and he has also been honored 5-time All-American.

Off the track, Brendon Stewart is an abstract artist and his style reflects his artwork:

  • Shirt: Kith

  • Shades: Broken Planet

  • Duffle Bag: Tote & Carry

  • Bracelets: Louis Vuitton and diamond bracelet

  • Watch: Apple

Similar to the More Than An Athlete movement by LeBron James after being told to ‘shut up and dribble’, Brendon Stewart co-created Athlete+ and is an advocate for showcasing talent outside of sport. His abstract art was featured on Athlete+ where he explains how being an artist is good for his mental health and provides a way to express his creativity.

Other fan favourites included:

  • Johnny Brackins’ brown leather pants

  • JC Stevenson’s mint suit

  • Jasmine Jones’ multicolored pants

  • Temi Ojora’s pink and green striped-knit shirt

  • Michael Phillippy’s floral shirt

The Southern California team was also gifted Nike Dunk Low sneakers in the vibrant "Citron Pulse" colorway.
